At last the river level has dropped enough for the kids to get back to what they love doing at their favorite place, it is such huge fun to be part of all the berner games they invent along the way!!!!!

Cruft`s 2013

A great day at Crufts 2013 with our team of three, we had huge fun and awarded second place in each class entered, so an excellent result for Tickbern Bernese, the future looks bright for our youngsters.

Judges critique

Special Puppy Dog (8, 1) 2^nd Cooke & Stevens’ Tickbern Ridin’High. Another promising youngster. He stands well, good straight front, and nice hindquarters, not just the overall substance of 1^st but moved OK.

Yearling Dog (14, 6) 2^nd Cooke & Stevens’ Tickbern Over The Moon. Not a big dog but so full of quality. Liked his head and expression, he makes the most of standing and showing. Good angulations front and rear and it showed in his movement.

Open Bitch (17, 2) 2^nd Cooke & Stevens’ Ch Tickbern Miss Chief. Another sound bitch, liked her head, topline and tail set. She looks good in profile with a nice depth of chest and firm back. Sound front and rear giving her easy movement. Beautifully presented and handled.

A week ago it seemed Spring was well and truly with us as the garden sprung into life, how destructive this Arctic blast has been, we even had to break the ice on the fish pond so the frogs could breath.
