June 20th, 2014

That time again, fair weather over the past week has allowed us to crack on with haylage and hay making. The kids ( Jake & Mel pictured) have supervised the cut, while Eve, at ten years old still manages to get on top of quality control. The start of the fifth day saw fields of round bales, (a bumper crop) ground drying, a chance to get them in to the barns and by 8pm job done!!!Kids supervising the hay cut Eve carries out quality control Early start two fields to go Long shadows long day last one
