Our donkey foals continue to grow seemingly over night. Rumba finds a warm sunbeam streaming through the barn window to pose in!!! she is so enchanting.

EASTER

Easter wouldn’t be Easter without these little fluff balls. The first of our Orpingtons decided that Sunday was to far away and popped out over night. We are quite excited, as they are our third generation of silver laced blue and lavender Birchin Orpingtons.

Taylor`s Little surprise!

Taylor has presented us with just the cutest little filly who will be called Salsa. She is an absolute clone of her dad Monty (see stallions) and as Ange say`s, you just want to pick her up and cuddle her she is so precious!

Aaaah, I just love the spring flowers Jake, Daf`s are really nice and make me feel all fuzzy inside!! Yep,smell real nice Mocka, I cocked my leg on that one!!!

Porsche and Waltzing Matilda

Not to be out done, within a few hours Porsche presented us with Waltzing Matilda another drop dead gorgeous filly. It is so rewarding to see the quality of our animals improve each year, justifying the investments we have made with foundation stock and our dedication through the years. A big thank you to all our four legged kids!!

MEG`S NEW BABY

Meg, our long coated mare has just presented us with a beautiful coloured colt from Monty (see web page). He is just so in your pocket and will be known as Holebrook “Limbo” as the first attempt at standing was to limbo straight under his mum. Both are doing well, with the milk bar open 24/7

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK!

Our first Pygmy kids have arrived for 2012, little boy and little girl, happy, healthy and full of life. They are always a constant source of amusement, as are the Kune Kune piglets. The kid`s father (the Colonel) is blistfully unaware of the new arrivals, as he leads the Donkey parade in the home paddock.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

After a recent trip to the States it was amazing to see the changes here at Holebrook. Rooks are nesting, Primrose in flower, the Weeping Willows covered in new leaves, first of the Pygmy kids have arrived, first of our Miniature Donkey foalsĀ  is about to be born and the frogs are in a frenzy in the fish pond. It`s always good to see them back and this year they are in their hundreds.
